Anthony Hill also known as Axis Thrill, has spent the past 20 years in the music industry as a songwriter, producer, manager, and promoter. After moving to the Washington D.C. area in 1988, he joined forces with D.J. Hassan to begin his professional career as a producer/songwriter creating remixes for L.A. female rapper M.C. Smooth. This led him to work with legendary songwriter Vaughn Mason (Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes/ Bounce, Rock, Roll, Skate) where he was introduced to Eugene Hanes of Mass Order (Adina Howard, Jahiem, Elusion) with whom he worked with periodically until 1995. Also during this time, Anthony Hill worked with Kevin Jackson (Tonya Blount, Stacy Lattisaw, Phajja ) on various projects. In 1991 Anthony Hill was signed to a New Jersey based independent record label owned by Michael K. Jackson (music director for Stacy Lattisaw). Following this accomplishment, Anthony decided to take on the role of manager/producer for a Washington D.C. area rap group called The No Description Given and Da Major League which included the likes of Rich "Nieze" Shelton (Ice Cube, Keisha Cole, Mya, Sisco), Steph Lover (HOT 97, NY/MTV2), and Big Tigger (Rap City, BET). In 1995 Anthony Hill relocated to Atlanta where he worked as promotions representative for Priority Records. During his two year tenure with Priority Records he was instrumental in establishing the Atlanta area presence for acts like Ice Cube, Mack 10, Rass Kass, and Lil' Half Dead. Eventually, in 2002, establishing MainStreet Productions, in Atlanta, Georgia where he has written, composed, and produced, artist of local, regional, and national levels.
In 2004, Anthony established a new launch-pad designed label along with DJ Mike Swift for new, up-and-coming, and seasoned artists resurging career aspirations. Providing major record label service and support for artist on any platform. Established in the city called the MOTOWN of the SOUTH, Atlanta, Georgia. Working with artist of all genres and all influences. Having guided the careers of Jahalla of Ceelo Green's label (Gnarls Barkley), Caron Morman, inspirational R&B artist from Canada, Robert Terrell, an adult contemporary R&B from Austin, Texas. Also numerous local and regional rap and urban music artist. Currently representing the likes of Andrae Alexander music director and producer with clients such as Raheem DeVaughn, Common, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Chrisette Michele, as well as many others.
Anthony Hill is a force in the music industry to be reckoned with and he is providing support for those who are desirous of successful music career.
Anthony decided in 2011 to focus on remodeling the business structure to provide music publishing services to artists, singers, songwriters, and production companies. Along with developing a new brand of music called Nuveau R&B Soul combining rhythms of R&B music with the harmonics tones of Soul music.
